Guests of the festival can enjoy refreshments and gain insight on bird care, behavior, and parrot research. Also, visitors can get jiggy on Friday night with a casino-themed party complete with raffled prizes. Proceeds benefit the National Parrot Rescue and Preservation Foundation (NPRPF).

Fix Felix: February 19

The Houston Humane Society is hosting a unique opportunity for our cat-loving community. Fix Felix is a free neutering event for cats. From 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., cat owners may bring by their male cats for neutering. The homelessness of cats in the Houston area is at an all-time high. The goal of this event is to decrease that number dramatically. Therefore, the Humane Society is willing to neuter 700 cats for free. So make an appointment today!
