Kuu (pronounced Koo) translates into the “art of eating.” Chef Adison Lee is known for his beautiful plating, and he studied under Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa who helped him hone his skills. He has more than 20 years of experience, and his gift for combining textures and flavors allows him to create his own unique taste that sets him apart from other chefs. The restaurant offers a fun atmosphere, and sushi choices include fresh salmon belly, yellowtail, and wasabi flying fish roe.

Soma Sushi

Finally, since opening in 2015, Soma Sushi has gained recognition from both Eater and Zagat for its delicious meals. This upscale eatery is where the “sushi is so fresh, it’s literally off the hook.” Chef Omi Higa combines traditional Japanese cuisine with modern techniques. Guests always enjoy friendly service. The cozy dining room features dim lighting and exposed brick for a modern feel. Not to mention, sushi options include spicy salmon tartar, crispy maki, and spam musubi.
